L.C.P.T.A. Constitution
Realizing certain necessities in the promotion of both ourselves and our work, we, a group of professional teachers of piano have come together to form an organization with the following aims and purposes:
1. To promote a high standard of teaching, study, and performance.
2. To vigorously encourage and support all worthwhile musical activities in the communities represented by the membership.
3. To develop a complementary relationship between private teachers and public and parochial schools.
4. To provide a means of exchange of ideas, experience, and inspiration among private teachers.
5. To promote and maintain a high level of ethical and business practices in the music and teaching professions.
6. To enjoy the social pleasures and mutual benefit of friendly contact among members.
7. To present a united front whenever and wherever necessary to protect the common interests of all concerned.
